BELLY DANCE TECHNIQUES
Learn new steps or polish the steps you know. Class can cover shimmies, isolations, traveling steps, combinations and transitions. Finger cymbals are taught and veil introduced. PAN AFRICAN DANCE
Pan African Dance is a highly energetic and FUN dance class designed to make you sweat and feel good at the same time. This survey of dance moves from The Congo-Brazzaville, West Africa-Senegal, Guinea, Haiti and Cuba is set to high energy music from Brazzaville, Senegal, Guinea, Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, and Peru. Students should bring a towel, a wrap skirt (sarong, pare’u or lappa). All are welcome to come and participate in this fun mind and body enhancing class.

SALSA DANCING II - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
This class will teach intermediate and advanced students new and exciting patterns, tecniques and syncopations in Salsa, Cha Cha and Merengue. Students do not need a partner. A review of the last week's lesson is at the beginning of each session, and the remaining 1/2 hour will include new materials. You will also learn how to create your own steps. PIANO KEYBOARDS
Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Requirement: At least a 61-key keyboard and earphones or headset (bring to class, ready to use). Learn to play contemporary as well as classical music. Learn how to improvise pieces of music by reading chord notations and portions of scales and arpeggios for embellishments. Beginners will learn how to read notes, do scales and chords, and play simple pieces. Bring pen, pencil and notebook. Required texts: Scales, Chords and Arpeggios by James Bastien; also Level 1 of Alfred's Adult All-in-One Course by Willard Palmer.
